CELEBRATE NEW YEARS EVE RESPONSIBLY WITH SOBERRIDE
Austin, Texas –It’s that time of year again…time
for holiday cheer…parties with family and friends…toasts to
the New Year. Before you raise a glass in celebration this holiday season,
soberRide encourages you to choose a designated driver.
soberRide will operate during the hours of 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. on Friday,
December 31st, 2010 as a way to keep Central Texas safe from impaired drivers
during this traditionally high-risk, holiday period. To area residents,
age 21 and older who will be celebrating with alcohol, soberRide suggests
that you plan ahead and have a designated driver before going out. If you
find yourself needing a ride home you may call soberRide at (512) 657-2999
and receive a free cab ride home (up to a $30 fare). Calls must originate
in Travis or Williamson counties.
